Over on Coolest-Gadgets.com, methodshop shares his thoughts regarding the child who dialed 911 almost 300 times from a deactivated cell phone. That’s right a deactivated cell phone. Deactivated cell phones are required by law to have the ability to call 911. So if you have a deactivated cell phone that you’ve given to your youngster to play with, make sure the battery is either dead or not present.

My oldest keeps asking the question, “When can I get rid of my car seat?” I told him that was a great question and I didn’t know the answer to it. So, I put my fingers to work and put together a list of what the state regulations are. See below for your state and what requirements are required for your child and the type of seat they must use for vehicles. Now, the next time my son asks, I have an answer!
